Up for auction a 1971 Porsche 911T roller RS project car with a good 3.0 liter 911 sc motor-915 trans core and 911 SC complete rear suspension, including brakes. This is a straight body, no accident, low rust, 911T, which was converted some years ago to a 911 SC look with SC rear fender flairs. We purchased the vehicle which was a running model with a stock motor and trans with the intent of building an original vintage look RS model. A running 3.0 liter motor and 1976 915 transmission core and a complete 911 SC rear suspension with brakes were purchased and put into the vehicle along with OEM used vintage front fenders and hood. The nose was converted back to the original 1971 911T using new Vintage Porsche parts. The vehicle has stock 15X6 and 15X7 stock Fuchs with roller tires only. Rear hubs have extended studs for proper wheel/ arch extention. This was a California car and is virtually rust free except for the hood and left fender and rear seat bottom shelves. The hood has two surface rust spots and left fender has one surface rust spot. Suspension points and major flooring are rust free.Car includes brake systym-steering column with original steering wheel, original gauges, passenger side window surround, rear quarter windows, front 1971 stock suspension with brakes, 911 SC rear suspension complete with brakes, rear SC/RS metal fender flares, 1976 915 trans core which needs a rebuild, 1978 3.0 Liter 911 motor in running condition with most of the intake. Engine is a 1978 large intake runner 3.0 liter motor #6580617. This was a running motor when removed from a 911 SC with approx. 100,000 miles. but has a partial intake requiring some fuel lines, and a fuel pressure regulator, so it is not running in this car. Engine turns freely. Original motor was sold but the original transmission, in good working condition, and rear suspension are available separately for $600 and $400 respectively or if you require these original parts back in the car, this can be negotiated.
