SquareTrade © AP6.0 I have for sale a 2000 Ford Windstar SEL 7 passenger van that runs, but the automatic transmission is not working correctly. It will back up but will not go forward in any of the forward gears. I am selling this van for parts or repair only, and you will need a tow truck to move it from the current location near Columbia, South Carolina. It is not drivable like it is. It also has a salvage title. It was in an accident on Oct. 13, 2007 and was repaired and placed back on the road for the past 4 years. Tires are pumped up, but you will still need a tow truck because the automatic transmission is not working properly. Other problems include: battery is down, but it will jump start. The passenger side rear view mirror glass is missing. The inside rear view mirror has come off the windshield and is in the floor board (needs glue to stick it back on the windshield). Will need a set of tires if you repair it. Will need a good cleaning if you repair it. Will need one aluminum rim on the left rear. Now for the good: It cranks and runs and does not have any engine knock. Has the SEL package that includes: back-up sensors that work, electric side doors, the air conditioner is front and rear and is cold, V-6 3800 cid engine; cd player and cassette player in radio, cruise, overdrive (again the transmission is non-working); cruise, floormats, garage door opener on the sun visor, dual and side airbags, brakes seem to be fine, power drivers seat and power passenger seat, luggage rack on the roof, power door locks work, factory towing package with receiver hitch. I have noticed there is a dent behind the right side sliding door, some scratches in the paint, and the rear driver's side window latch is loose. This van has a non-removable Salvage title. I am listing this van for a dealer, so all the paper work will be taken care of by the dealer after the sale. It is a clear title. My personal opinion of this van is that it is worth repair, even if the worst case is that you have to rebuild or replace the automatic transmission. Hey, it could be something simple. The tire size is P225/60R-16 and you will need tires if you decide to repair this van.
