This is a very nice rust-free and nearly original car. All body panels, trim, interior, motor (351 Windsor), trans (fmx automatic),wheels and rear end (9"0) are original to this car! Here is the short list of non-original parts: frt hood molding, hood and gas cap emblems, drivers seat cover and aluminum intake w/4bbl Holley carb. I am a professional Auto Body Tech with 35 years experience and purchased this car about 7 years ago to build me a nice driver. Original finish was stripped to bare metal and I found only a dime size rust spot on rt quarter panel. Floor pan was wire brushed and coated with POR, bumpers were re-chromed, wheels blasted and re-painted, trim removed and polished, heads re-worked for Unleaded fuel , all brakes, bearings, shocks, seals, bushings were replaced. I added alum intake, chrome valve covers, air breather and Holley carb., (but original ones come with car). Car was painted with Dupont base-coat clear-coat, wet sanded and polished!! This car has never placed lower than 2nd at local shows and even won Best Paint at a All Ford show with over 200 entrants! This is not a TRAILER QUEEN, I drive it and therefor it has aquired small rock chips on lower quarter panels and probably some on lower front fenders. I almost forgot to mention, I added dual exhaust and had trans serviced as well as 5 new tires. This car is equipped with drum brakes, power steering, FMX auto trans, AM radio, bucket seats, floor console, tinted glass, head restraints, bucket seats, console ,heavy duty suspension and GT pkg. Buyer will also recieve the ORIGINAL window sticker, Oklahoma title ,BOTH build sheets, owners manual and Installment Sale Security Agreement that came with car when it was purchased new for $3947.73!!!! This car was purchased new for original owner's daughter. She was involved in a fender bender a couple weeks later and he took it away! She never got the car back! I purchased it from her after his death and she even threw in the wisk broom her dad bought for her on the way home from dealership! Altough this is a really nice car and many hours were spent on the refurbishment, it is not a new car. I want to mention the negatives because the pics speak for the positive. The a/c does not work, a hole was drilled by last owner in left tail lamp lens, the carpet is frayed in a small area next to rt front kick panel, there is a small crack in the grille (not visible when hood is closed), and the engine has a slight leak at rear main seal. If I missed anything, I will apoligize for it now! I am setting the reserve very low, so, please have fun bidding and BE SERIOUS!! I do not plan to list this car again. This probably contributes to it's rust-free condition. I have owned many cars over the years,but,this one exceeded my expectations. It was the most complete and in the best condition of any car I have ever purchased. Someone is going to purchase a truely exceptional car at a great price!!
