I have a '78 GS 550 with about 22,000miles. The mileage could go up as I still ride it occasionally. I don't have enough room, and since this one gets ridden the least it has to be sold. Everything works except the gear position indicator on the dash. It starts, runs, stops, turns, etc just like it should, it's a great bike to ride. All the maintenance (valve adjustment, points, plugs, etc) is up to date. The front brake system was rebuilt about a year ago, all of the rubber parts were replaced with new OE stuff and the slide pins were greased. About that same time the spokes were checked, new rubber gas tank dampers/mounts installed, new plugs, plug caps, fork oil, and chain. Tires are Continental Conti Go (with new tubes and wheel bearings), and have about 1000mi on them. The battery is new with a one year warranty. This bike shouldn't need anything but regular oil changes for a long time. The only major cosmetic defects are the paint on the top of the gas tank and a small dent on the upper left rear of the tank, everything else is in good shape. There is light rust on a few parts of the frame, but no major rust or corrosion anywhere else. I installed lower aftermarket handlebars and a set of bar ends from a Suzuki C90T to reduce handlebar vibration. The stock handlebars will be included, they aren't bent/damaged, I just didn't find them very comfortable. I have an oil filter and a few odds and ends for it that will also go with the bike.
