You will be bidding on a VERY RARE 1968 Pontiac Beaumont originally made for sale in Canada via the 1968 Chevelle that has been restored and has had a few more horses put under the hood. According to everything that I have researched there were only 704 of these made in 1968. It is in very, very good condition and with just a couple of minor flaws. This car has had all of the redone with aftermarket guages and stereo. The true miles are unknow but shows 6214 on the new guages. The interior is just about flawless other than the crack in the dash pad (see photo). There is a few very small scratches on the hood with only one of them showing very much. The one that shows the most will barly catch your fingernail. The exterior has a ding in the rear bumper and has been run under something and has very small scratches the length of the bumper. It happened at a classic car auction last month. In my opinion it need re chromed anyway because of the pitting in the chrome (see photo). There is also a small ding just above the right rear tail light (see photo). Shouldn't be a deal breaker though. There is no visible rust and no paint bubbles. Rockers, door jambs, fenders and quarter panels are all very solid. Under the hood, we were told at the classic car auction when we bought it, that it had a GM 502 Crate motor. I am not sure how to tell for sure but I know that runs like a son of a gun. Very strong. It has an automatic transmission with a B&M shifter, Auto Meter Pro Comp Ultra-Lite guages, Firestone Indy 500 Firehawk tires (real new). This car has plenty of go to go with the show. A true sleeper car. This car is being sold AS-IS with no warranty either expressed or implied. Don't let that worry you though. This is a very solid car and has been done up right. We are a dealer and do collect Indiana Sales Tax of 7% and do charge a 150.00 documentation fee as well. If you are not prepared to do this please do not bid.
