Up for sale is a very neat 1967 Mustang. The previous owner had it for several years. He built the car himself and poured lots of blood,sweat,tears and money into this car. I will be highlighted it in three main paragraphs. They are the exterior,interior,drivetrain. If I happen to leave something out please use the contact information at the end of this auction. Exterior:This is a Southern car. It is overall solid for a Mustang of its era. Although even Southern Mustangs can have rust. This car was no exception. It has had floor pans replaced. The pans could have been repaired but the builder opted to change them out. He done a killer job too. It has not however had rear quarters replaced. After that the body was blocked and prepped. Then the car had several coats of Custom PPG Blue Paint added.That was a few years back. Since then the car was used off and on as a weekend driver. It now has a few nicks,scratches and wear consistent with a driver. The paint overall is a 8 on a 1-10. Please note that a few months back this car got bumped on the passenger side fender. That is why it is currently removed. I am selling it as is. It is drivable,as we have drove it since the fender bender. A new fender,light,stripe kit and rocker chrome need to be purchased to finish it up. Interior: The interior is mostly stock with the exception of a Autometer Gauge Cluster,B&M Shifter and a IDIDIT column. The carpet is showing some minor wear and could probally use some dying. The seats are in good shape.The headliner is nice as well. I would rate the interior at a fair 8 on a 1-10 scale. Drivetrain: This car has a mildly built 347 stroker engine. It has a small comp cam,roller rockers,gear drive,msd ignition. The car has coated shorty header with all mandrel bent 2 1/2" pipes runing through Magnaflow Mufflers,it sounds great! It has a built C4 transmission with a 2500 rpm stall convertor to keep it tame at traffic lights. The car has a 3.50 gear that gives it some pep while still being streetable. There has been more of emphasis put on show then anything. Everything under the hood has either been chromed,painted,polished,etc. Lots of money was spent under the hood giving it "The Look". For instance the car has a Custom Billet Air cleaner,that was said to have cost $1800. The car has polished air compressor that is not hooked up but could be made functional if wanted. The heat is currently not hooked up either. This car is really intended for nice pretty days. Overall Id say the drivetrain is a 9 on a 1-10. In Closing: This car has had tons of money($30k++)and time throwed at it. It needs someone now to Love it again,like when it was built, and finish it up. My reserve is very fair for what type of car this is. There is potential for someone to make some big profit if finished up.
