This auction is for my 1974 MGB project car. I bought this car a few months ago to get back on the road, but I have since bought another car and no longer have the funds to keep both. This MGB still looks decent considering it's age, but it will need some work to be road worthy again. This MGB runs, but it needs a timing and carb adjustment. It sputters and lacks power on acceleration. The engine sounds great, with none of the typical valvetrain noise that so many have. The fuel system should also be flushed, as this car has been sitting for a while. It needs a front brake line as well, which is Moss motors part number 182-545. The body is very straight. The top is in excellent condition. As can be seen from the pictures, the undercarriage is fairly solid. I jacked the car up from the original jacking points on both sides, and had no problems. However, the floor pans will definitely need to be replaced. In my opinion, this car could be a daily driver with not too much effort(This was my plan).
