Up for your consideration is a 2007 Toyota Yaris hatchback, with just under 44,000 miles. The car has been in my possession since new. I have decided to part with it, as I have too many cars as it is. The car was driven as a daily commuter and on a few trips, until the death of my father at which point the number of cars in my possession increased. Car was purchased from Diehl Toyota in York PA in June, 2007. Blue book on this vehicle, in 'good' condition, as equipped, is just over $10,000. My Buy it Now price is over $1000 less than blue book because I am tired of having to move cars around in the driveway and paying insurance on a car I no longer drive. Title is in-hand; car has been paid off. Detailed description: 1. No flood damage, accidents, or bodywork. 2. Exterior is a solid 9/10, with commensurate wear for a car of this mileage and age. There are a few small scratches here and there, most have been touched up and none appear to affect the base metal of the body. This is 'shopping cart rash'. Note that these imperfections are not obvious on first glance, and you won't be able to see them in the pictures but will see them if you look for them. The paint is excellent; I use Zaino on all my cars and except for the aforementioned abrasions the car looks like it just came off the boat. 3. Interior (black with blue polkadots)is about 8.5/10; has a few abrasions on the plastic where items have slid around, a dot imperfection in the driver's seat where a wire being soldered touched the fabric (but not through the fabric, still looks black). Note that these imperfections are not obvious on first glance, and you won't be able to see them in the pictures but will see them if you look for them. PLEASE NOTE: It looks like there is a stain on the seat in the photo that shows the subwoofer... there is no stain there. What you see is a dust ring (from the bottom of a bucket) that was since vacuumed away. There is nothing there now; if you wish I'll be happy to send pictures of anything you want on or in the car. 3. The stereo has been upgraded with new speakers and an amplified sub that sits behind the driver's seat. It could easily be moved, or removed. 4. The tires were replaced at roughly 30,000 miles. As seen in the pics there is plenty of tread left. 5. The front brakes are starting to feel rough and I can hear them - they will need to be replaced very soon. The car steers and stops straight. 6. The serpentine belt is starting to squeal when the car is cold and AC is turned on at startup. A new serpentine belt will be in order soon also. The belt is obviously not new but is not yet frayed or torn. Once the car warms up there are no squeals and no issues. 7. The transmission is fine; it has the automatic. I had the fluid changed at 30,000 miles. 8. There is a puck on the dashboard for a GPS. I'll include the GPS with the car to make it worth your trouble. 9. I no longer have the owner's manual. I don't know where it is; never needed it. Nothing on this car to look up. 10. Oil changes every 3K - 5K miles. I'll do one on the car if the buyer requests.
