This Suburban runs and drives excellent! The Turbo Diesel engine is very strong (no blow-by) and it gets an honest 18 MPG on the highway. I just had my mechanic go over this truck very thoroughly from top to bottom. He took care of any current needs as well as some preventative maintenance: - New Tires (LT245/75/16; Load Range E; Nexen Roadian AT 2)- Oil Change (Shell Rotella 15w40)- New Fuel Filter- New Hydroboost- New Front Brakes- New Idler Arm & Pitman Arm- New Starter- New A/C Pressure Switch & A/C Service- New Exterior Mirrors- New Passenger Front Inside Door Handle Assembly- New Rear Heater Core The engine runs excellent - it runs smooth and doesnt smoke. There are no fluid leaks (you may see some wetness on the chassis in the pictures, but thats from when the hydroboost was previously leaking). The transmission shifts great. All fluids are topped off and clean. This truck has always lived in Texas, so theres absolutely no rust anywhere. The exterior is presentable, but not perfect. This truck has never been in an accident and every panel is original, but the white paint was repainted at some point because of paint peel. But, they didnt do a very good job, so there is some overspray here and there on weatherstripping and such, and now some has started to peel again in small spots on the hood and rear quarter panels. These small spots have been touched up and it looks good from a few feet away, but its not perfect. There are also several tiny door dings, but no real dents. The exterior is not perfect (although still very presentable), but where this truck really shines is mechanically. The interior is quite nice. The seats are all in great shape. Everything works. The A/C is cold and the Heat is hot (front and rear). Never smoked in that I can tell. It does have the third seat, so it is an 8 passenger. There are a few light stains on the carpet and the headliner has a few small holes (all pictured), but overall the inside is very clean. This is a very nice truck that wont have you chasing little gremlins after you buy it - its ready to drive anywhere. Everything works perfect.
