Well maintained and just out of extended storage. This is a lifelong Southwest (CA / AZ) car – very clean and no rust ever. 32K miles, believed to be actual but cannot document. This is a substantially original survivor. It's had one repaint in original color. The repaint was exterior only – the door jambs, engine and trunk compartment are original. No dents or body repairs, but a few small chips in the paint. Nice chrome. The interior is original except the dashpad has been recovered. The driver's seat has 2 small spots where seams are coming apart (see pics). The interior is otherwise in very good condition -- door panels, head liner, original carpet and seats. Original radio-delete car with delete plate in the glove compartment -- it now has a 70's style working cassette deck. Working after market gauges under dash. All glass in good condition -- no chips or cracks. Lots of miscellaneous spare parts in the trunk. The car was exercised regularly during storage. It's had the carb and clutch hydraulics rebuilt. The cylinder head was removed and hardened valve seats installed so it runs on regular unleaded gas. Car runs cool. Brakes are excellent and car stops straight. All of the original emissions are connected and working. All lights and turn signals work. The gas gauge does NOT work; car currently has a full tank and trip odometer will help monitor when to refuel. It runs and drives great. Will need tires before driving any distance -- they are dry rotted from extended storage. I’d like to be able to say that the original spare is still in the trunk well, but it’s not – the last owner had a flat and used it so it's now on the driver’s side rear with the rubber nubs still there. This is a spunky little car that goes great down the freeway. With new tires, I would not hesitate to take it on a road trip as is.
