Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1977 MGB, this vehicle is in very good condition. I am the fourth owner of this vehicle and I know the two previous owners before me, this car has always been garaged and only driven on nice sunny days and always stored in garage during winter months, therefore only driven about 4 months out of the year and then as stated only on nice days. The reason for selling is due to divorce, this car is very reliable and has never failed me in any way, I would trust this car to drive anywhere, I live in Ohio and have driven it to Chicago and many other places with no issues at all. This car is a blast to drive and gets compliments everytime it is driven, In the seven years I have owned this car I have installed the following new parts: complete exhaust, motor mounts, fuel pump/sending unit, tie rod ends, rear tires, water pump, thermosatat, oil line, front brakes, O.E.M. TEX side view mirrors. Car has always been well maintained with the oil changed regularly and has a fresh tune up (plugs, rotor button, dist. cap, wires). Interior is in excellent condition other than a rip along the seam on the drivers seat other than that there are no cracks or tears, all electrical works (dome light, lighter, lights, clock keeps time down to the second, all gauges except for tachometer), the tach worked when I got the car and I just never did mess with fixing it could be a simple fix. Car was originally Glacier White but was repainted British Racing Green just before I aquired it, has never been wrecked accept for a dent by the right rear tail light (compliments of my ex backing into someone (shown in pic), other than that body is in very good condition, the paint does have a few small places on the trunk lid where the paints is bubbled up just a bit and does have a scuff mark here and there but you have to be up close to even notice anything at all. This car starts and runs perfectly, has the original Zenith-Stromberg carb. with water choke that works excellent, holds excellent oil pressure and will start right up without even touching the accelerator and pur like a kitten. The underneath of this car is solid with no rust, has original jack an spare tire. This car will need a new top as some of the snaps are deteriorating but there are no major rips or tears in it and goes up and down easily (I never replaced the top because honestly I never put it up as I only drive it when the sun is out, I can include pics of top if requested), it will also need new front tires and front end alignment (It has new rear tires but I have'nt replaced the front yet as I just recently replaced the tie rod ends so the front end will need an alignment), as shown in pics it comes with the tonneua cover that covers the top when it is down. Well I think I have thought of everything but will answer any questions you may have, If able I do encourage and welcome all interested bidders to come and look at this beautiful vehicle before bidding. Vehicle is also for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end listing early, $500 deposit to be paid through Paypal within 24 hours of end of auction.
