Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is an extremely nice 1976 GT380. Starts on first kick almost every time.I have spent some time and money on some updates. I cleaned the carbs which were in good condition and installed brand new rubber pieces in top of the carbs and new accordion rubbers covers that fit over the slide shafts. Also installed brand new intake boots. The Tank is Brand new NOS and has never has gas in it until a few weeks ago when I installed it on this bike along with a new fuel petcock. This bike starts very easily, idles smooth and accelerates quite nicely. Rode it around for a while, all six gears smooth as silk. This bike will put a smile on your face. I am restoring an Orange 1973 GT380 now and 1 of them has to go. Here is a list about the bike: Front and rear fender chrome is great and I can not find any peppering on them. Headlight and ears are nice. Instruments are very nice and tach redline is bright red. All lights function. New nos fuel tank New fuel petcock New front tire New rear tire New seat cover New intake manifolds. New air cleaner elements New Battery Brake fluid flush Engine sound great with NO strange noises. Factory air box and boot. Original equipment shocks and forks have very nice chrome. Factory "bumper" (grab rail). Nice tail light and bracket. Wheels are in great shape. Pipes shine nicely, there is some battery acid damage on left pipe. Otiginal turns signals all function. Front fender is from a GT750 and cleans up the look of the front end. Please take a look at the pictures and ask questions. REMEMBER this bike is still 35 year new. May partial trade for interesting bike. . Buyer is responsible for the cost and arranging of shipping. Either pick the bike up yourself, or arrange to have it hauled. Daily Direct or Uship online will give you shipping quotes. Please make your shipping arrangements before the end of the auction as I will store the bike no longer than 2 weeks after the end of the auction.
