1966 Ford Mustang 289 V-8!!! Here is a beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang "A-Code" 289ci V8 that looks absolutely gorgeous and is rust free!!! This is a beautiful car that turns heads everywhere you go!! This muscle car is in excellent shape and looks beautiful with its gorgeous Tahoe Turquoise Metallic paint finished over matching interior. The car really looks great with its gleaming chrome, pony wheels and that great GT package look featuring the classic trumpeted exhaust exiting through the rear valance, GT fog lights in the grill and the contrasting strip running down the side of the car. Lots of money has been poured into this classic Mustang. This is a solid rust free Arizona car with solid original floors. This "A-code" Mustang retains its original 289ci V8 that has recently been rebuilt and topped with a 4 barrel carb. This is car drives as great as it look!!! Click to enlarge Exterior: This Mustang has recently been refinished in the classic shade of Ford Tahoe Turquoise Metallic. It is unlikely that you will see another one driving down the road in this color combination. It is very hard to find a Mustang in this color and stands out from the typical red mustang. This Mustang is rust free and retains its original floors that are rock solid and rust free. It can be pretty difficult to find them like this. After the car painted it was treated to new weather stripping as well as new chrome bumpers, grill, gas cap etc... The cars exterior is set off by a great looking set of "Pony" style wheels wrapped in brand new tires. The overall appearance of this car is really set off by the GT look. The car has all of the proper GT items including the front fog lights, correct side stripe with the proper GT badges and M-U-S-T-A-N-G pin lettering. The correct GT gas cap and of course that great looking set of GT trumpet exhausts exiting through the rear valance. This car is stunning in person and I hope it shows in these photos. This car turns heads everywhere you go!!! Click to enlarge Interior: The Interior of this muscle car compliments the exterior. The Aqua and Parchment pony seats are like new and in great shape with strong and supportive foam. The interior was redone about a year ago and is showing very very little wear. At the time of the interior restoration just about everything was replaced, the headliner, door panels, dash, seats, steering wheel, carpet etc... were all replaced. This Mustang retains its original 1966 Am radio that really completes the classic look of the interior, it however is currently non-operational. A modern radio has been installed below the dash to preserve the classic and original look of the interior. The radio does work however it is an older unit and could used to be updated if you really like listening to music in your cars. Overall the interior is in EXCELLENT condition and looks spectacular in combination with the paint. Click to enlarge Engine: The 289ci V8 fires right up and runs like a top. The Engine was rebuilt less than 25k miles ago and the car runs very smooth. The engine has been treated to a few performance upgrades and the car is a very strong runner. The engine is topped with a Edelbrock 4 barrel carb and exhales through a great sounding dual exhaust that exits through the rear valance that gives this Mustang that great muscle car rumble. Don't worry though it is not very loud, and is just a pleasant soundtrack to cruise to. The Automatic transmission on this Mustang shifts perfectly through all the gears and was also recently rebuilt as well. The brakes are very responsive and stop this pony with ease. The car stops and steers straight and is a joy to drive. This Mustang runs great and I wouldn't hesitate driving it across the country. The car is also riding on a brand new set of tires as well. This is a great driving car and it is lots of fun to be seen in. This is a nice solid rust free car that is very straight and looks fantastic in person. This car is in great shape cosmetically and mechanically.
