Vehicle Detail

This is a 1951 Ford F1 body, and a custom built frame. The frame was built by a local man and he did an excellent job. It was completely torn apart and put back together with a Fatman front end, tubular upper and lower A arms, disc brakes, a full air bag set-up, triangulated 4 link hooked to a 3.27 locker. This frame has quite a bit of work and money in it and is an awesome foundation for a custom truck or a rat rod. It just need shocks and the compressor hooked up and the suspension is about done. The body itself is not bad to be 60 years old. It does have some rust but for the most part is pretty solid. The worst places I have found rust is in the fenders, bottom of the passenger door, cab corners, running boards, and some in the bed. There is also two holes in the floor pan. The rear under the seat is solid, the holes are forward where you feet go. There are new cab corners and a new floor pan that go with the truck.I have not found any places that can not be repaired by someone with at least a little knowledge of body work. The hood latch is still in the front clip, but the pin has rusted out from under the hood. Right now it is not attached to the hood springs. There is no engine or tranny and it can be set up however you want it. Extra parts that come with it include, air compressor for the bags with some extra hose and fittings, gauge and controller, two compressor tanks that were going to be modded into the frame, new front and rear glass seals, new floor pan, new cab corners, new bushings to mount the cab and bed, original steering column (will not work with new suspension), a radiator that is in very good shape, an old Ford Ranger seat and the tracks to mount it, calipers (need new seals) and some old rotors for the rear end, new tranny cross member, and I am sure I am forgetting something. I have a title for this truck, but it is already signed and was never sent off. The title is from North Carolina from 1987, and the DMV said they would throw it away if we left it with them. All that is needed in GA on something that old is a bill of sale and it must be inspected by a LEO. Other states I am not sure, but this old title is good to have for information. I also have two new VIN plates for the truck since the old ones are either missing or nearly impossible to read. I really wish I could keep this thing, but due to some circumstances it has to go. The only difference from the pictures is the rear wheels have been changes to spares also. The truck is together, but many bolts are removed since it was torn down. I could have the whole thing apart in less than an hour. I am asking for what I have in it, not interested in turning a profit. I will not be able to ship this vehicle, it is pick-up only. Please ask any questions you have before you bid. I will do my best to answer anything quickly and truthfully. The millage is obviously not 10 miles. Not sure of the actual millage. The title states 105,208. I have a few more pictures that I could not add. If you would like to see them, send me your e-mail address and I will send them to you. This truck is sold as-is. Thanks, and happy bidding. Adam
