My car is a '92 N/A 2+2 -- an original rust-free California car -- with just under 154K on the odometer. The auto transmission was completely rebuilt in '09 and may still have a few months left on the 24 month warranty. Loads of life left on the Falken tires and the Bosche battery is maybe 6 months old. Car has an ignition cut-off. Both front seats could use new skins but the rear seats look brand new. There is a minor body scrape to the rear passenger 1/4 panel and a slight tap to the left corner of the rear bumper. (No damage to the bumper proper, just a slight tattoo on the plastic skin.) Vehicle is registered in California until 5/10/2011. I actually have no idea what caused the engine to die. The car was running like a top and then, suddenly, I hear a strange noise in the engine compartment and by the time I was able to pull to the side of the road (15 seconds) it sounded like someone had dumped a bucket of bolts into the motor. I had it towed to a local shop where they pulled the oil pan and reported that the oil had all kinds of metal shavings in it. It didn't seem worth the money to delve any further than that so that's all I know. (This has pushed me to buy a pick-up which I really need for work anyway.) Until I moved to Pasadena, the car was worked on exclusively by Greg and Seb and at the world-famous Specialty Z in Chatsworth, Ca. A perfect candidate to become a TT 2+2!!! While it shouldn't need to be said, there is no warranty on my Z, implied or otherwise... Cash or a PayPal payment ONLY. No checks of any sort. Sorry.
