1998 Honda XR

Found this in a basement in Chicago. Been sitting there for 7yrs. Owner was going to fix it up for his grandson. He put new rear tire, new fenders and front number plate on it then could not get it running. I brought it home and drained carb put fresh gas and it started up. Runs good through all the gears. I put new grips,throttle housing,bar pad and lever on the bike.Installed new footpegs.Cleaned up the rust and painted the peg assembly, shifter,brake pedal, kickstarter and exhaust. Was going to make a pitbike but have too many projects. Tank decals have some tears (see pics) but are origional. cleaned rust off of wheels but did not clear coat yet. Seat has a couple of small holes (see pic) but is in good shape.Chain and sprockets have some life left in them. No title as owner is still looking for it but I will provide a bill of sale.
