Up for auction we have a nice 1978 Spitfire convertible. The car is in very nice shape but is not a show car it has the 1500cc 4 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission with 64570 original miles. It looks to have been painted recently (not a show car paint job but nice for a driver) so the car looks really nice, the bumpers could use a rechrome but are straight. Since we aqquired the vehicle we have installed a new fuel pump, starter motor, battery and a slave cylinder for the clutch. The car starts stops runs and drives as it should actually not bad for a 33 year old car. If you are looking for a nice little british sports car for some summer fun that won't break the bank then you have found it. The car has a recent Virginia state inspection a clear Virginia title and temporary tags are available since we are a dealer.
