We purchased this vehicle for my wife to fix it up but She found something else and lost interest in it. This is a '99 Passat with the 2.8Liter V6 engine.The transmission is the triptronic automatic version. The exterior has the factory paint with no previous damage on it.The clear coat started to pealing in a few spot./roof,trunk/ The interior has the black leather option with heated seats.The passenger seat has a hole on it.The driver seat worn also but is not that bad the passenger side.The rear seat looks fine. Both front seats are powered and has Airbags built in to them. The engine sounds good no strange noise or smoke.Only one thing the serpentine belt tensioner pulley broke needs to be replaced.You can not drive it far until fixed because the water pump,alternator,power steering are on the same serpentine belt routing. The transmission jumps in to gears,but still works.The car was sitting for long time maybe the trans. fluid needs to be replaced.Or has to be rebuild I don't know. The sunroof, power seats,power windows,locks,mirrors works fine except the driver door window.The digital climate control works but needs to be recharged.The car also got a CD changer.Brakes works fine. Tires are about 40-50% This car comes only with a bill of sale! If you need the Title I have to apply to get one.Takes about 6-8 weeks and $150.- extra on the top. Good parts car or fixer upper.
