1994 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4. White with Blue cloth interior. VIN 1FMEU15H1RLB01506. Current mileage is approximately 171,000. This Bronco was built in March, 1994 and purchased new from Sarat Ford in Agawam, Massachusetts. I have been told that it was a one owner vehicle that was used by a manager of a school bus company in Western Massachusetts as a safety vehicle until it was retired from service due to its age. The title shows a transfer in 2003 when the bus company was acquired by another bus company. This Bronco has a 5.8 liter, 351 cubic-inch gasoline engine. It has an automatic overdrive transmission. It has push-button four-wheel drive. It is also equipped with aluminum wheels, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, power mirrors, captain’s chairs and ventvisors. It also has a driver’s side airbag. The Bronco was stored over the winter and the battery is weak. It needs a jump start to get started, but it starts right up when jumped. The gauges indicate that the charging system works. The gauges also show good indicated oil pressure. It does not seem to run hot. There is a moderate amount of rust and body rot on this Bronco. It is around one of the rear wheelwells, the lower quarter panel and the rocker panels. You can see the rust in the photos. There is moderate surface rust on the frame, but it does not look like there are any rotted areas on the frame. There is a dent on the right front fender with a smudge of yellow paint around it. I suspect that it brushed against a school bus in the parking lot where it was kept at one point. The tires are BF Goodrich P265/75R15s and they are in very good condition. The wheels are in good condition with typical blemishes and discoloration. I drove this for a short distance and it runs and drives nicely. There is plenty of power. The brakes feel good and the transmission shifts well. The steering feels like it should, this isn’t a sports car so don’t expect a quick steering ratio, for for a 17-year-old truck, the response is very good. The four wheel drive and transfer case appear to work fine. The parking brake cable is broken, so that does not work. The air conditioning seems to blow cold and the radio sounds great. There are still some mounts inside for two-way radios and lights. This truck did not appear to ever have a snowplow attached to it. It does not have a receiver hitch either, which indicates that it was not used for any heavy towing. This Bronco has its original owner’s manual. Overall, this is a sharp looking truck for the money. With some bodywork to repair the rust, a new battery and a parking brake cable, it would make a nice and comfortable four-wheel-drive vehicle or it would be great to put a snowplow on due to its short wheelbase. I’ve also seen many Broncos modified to be great off-road vehicles. The title will be released to the winning bidder once full payment is received and then the vehicle can be picked up by appointment. Advance notice of pick-up is required. There is no reserve on this auction and the highest price will own it.
