Vehicle Detail

1991 Pontiac Grand Prix Richard Petty Edition "Very Rare" 1 of 43 made Here is your opportunity to purchase one hard to find automobile. I purchased this rare car back in January of 2006 with the intention to hold it for its increasing potential value, plus Richard Petty was always my favorite Nascar driver. The story I received is this car was personally handed to the original owner by the King himself. That lucky guy entered a drawing at a Virginia Biscuitville restaurant and won. As that story goes, there were only 43 of these cars designed at Petty Enterprises in respect of the King's Nascar number 43. This was a promotional car that could only be won throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. The winner of this model was personally handed the keys from Richard Petty himself. I have pictures of the King giving the keys to the original owner of this car. He in turn gave it to his daughter at that time, and she drove it until I made the purchase back in 2006. I recently spoke with another winner and he felt that there may only be 22 of these cars in existence. His wife had won one through a Pepsi promotion where she found the word CAR under the bottle cap. Her lucky find was the day before the promotion expired, and her car was told to be only the 22nd car produced. She was invited along with all the other winners to a race at Darlington where all the cars where able to drive some laps together around the track with Richard Petty and Dale Ernhardt present. The future will only tell how valuable this car will become. Take advantage of this prime opportunity to obtain a very rare car that will have its place in history. I can't tell much about the way this car runs and drives, because the only time I drove it was the day I picked it up from Virginia and made the trip home to Wisconsin. Although it drove through the mountains with ease, and handled the road nicely. The only thing I've done to this car was replace the battery last week since it was sitting in the same spot since 2006. I would say that all the fluids should probably be changed as it has been sitting for the 6 years of my ownership. I had always intended on going through the entire car, so it would maintain its collector value. At 20 years old this car receives collector car status in the state of Wisconsin, but I know some other states make a car wait until it is 25 years old. These promotional cars, whether being 22 made or 43 cars made were all done alike according to what I've been told. Each winning car was sent to Petty Enterprises for modifications, and the Richard Petty edition striping kit on the awesome ground effects. I could not see any sign of any rust issues since it was a southern car. This is really a solid piece of muscle car history. This car is very close to all original as far as I can tell. It comes with the original owners manual. What you see in the pictures is what you get. The owner told me that nothing was tampered with over the years, so that makes this car that much more valuable. It wouldn't take all that much to make this car pristine again. It has all country highway miles, and the woman I purchased it from took very good care of it. She only sold it to buy another horse. I was told this is the original 3.1 Multi Port V6 engine with fuel injection. God forbid anything would ever happen to the King, but if something did I would tend to believe that the value of this car would vastly increase. I possess the original title from when this car was first registered, but the previous owner put my name on it. This car is being sold with the original title and a Letter of Intent from the Wisconsin DMV that excuses my name from being placed on the title. This allows the next owner to either keep the original title or place it in their name at their convenience. This car has incredible investment potential. I always answer any questions to the best of my ability in explicit detail. I also pride myself in answering every question with the utmost honesty. Please ask whatever you like, and only bid what you are willing to spend. This extremely rare car will be selling at no reserve. This car is certain to turn heads wherever you drive, so you need to be able to handle being the center of attention. Long live the King! Good Luck and Happy Bidding!
