AVERAGE N.A.D.A. RETAIL = $4,675 I am selling this car for my Father and Mother who have owned the car over 4 years. They purchased this car in April/2007 and had the car serviced and had changed the oil regularly. Some recent repairs were tire replacement (4-20-2010 now at least 90% tread left); new radiator; tune up inlcuding spark plugs, plug wires, sway bar link, catalytic convertor; new fan belt, idler pulley, and belt tensioner (3-17-201; water pump plate gasket; rebuilt alternator = THEY MAINTAINED THIS CAR! There is very minor rusting, maybe a 2" area at the fender on the right rear fender well (as shown) along with the missing inside right rear wheel cover. The air conditioning does NOT work. They didn't mind (actually preferred) rolling down the windows. To repair the a.c. could cost up to $800 to repair, or as low as adding a.c. coolant or finding a wire not connected = no guarantees as they never had it looked at. My Father said the car uses 1/2 to 1 quart of oil every 3,000 miles. I drove the car and saw no problems. It did have some smoke when it first started up this morning. It was a very cold morning, and it did clear up immediately after starting. The whole drive train sounds and feels solid when driving the car. The motor and exhaust system is very quiet. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere there's a road to drive it on. The mileage is well over 20 miles per gallon. My 02 Deville with the same motor got 24 miles per gallon. THIS CAR IS ROAD READY AND COMES WITH A CLEAR TITLE!! If you'd like to see the car and are serious about purchasing this nice car please call me - Tom 217-306-2821 and make plans to do so. It's located at Chestnut, Il. 62518. Thanks for looking! 5-24-2011; We believe we've found the air conditioning problem. There's an aluminum a.c. line on the left side of the radiator that looks as if it's been rubbed. The line does have a very small amount of a.c. oil on the underneath side of it. As we are not a.c experts nor a.c. repair men we can only try to diagnose what we see. This line does seem to be the culprit in the a.c. problem. If in fact this is the problem then it appears to be a cheap repair by simply replacing or even repairing the line and filling the system with a.c. oil and R134.
