About this 2001 JAGUAR XJ8 L You are viewing an extremely elegant automobile that runs magnificently. I'm the 2nd owner of this well kept 2001 JAGUAR XJ8 L. This vehicle has only been driven 71,824 miles since new. It was involved in a minor accident (a moderate scrape on the driver's side of the vehicle) prior to me buying it. There was no damage whatsoever to either the engine compartment or frame. This supremely elegant touring sedan features a navy blue exterior, along with an incredibly beautiful Oatmeal (cream) leather interior, luxurious cabin appointments, and practically new tires with 90%+ tread left. Needless to say, this is a stunning color combination for this world-class touring sedan. I have had the good fortune of driving this Jaguar for several years, and it drives superbly, just like new - truly. This flagship Jaguar will provide you with all the power you will ever need. Along with a silky smooth, electronically-controlled 5 speed automatic transmission, this Jaguar is an absolute pleasure to drive. It comes with some cosmetic defects that can easily be repaired. I've taken pictures for you to see precisely these defects prior to bidding. They include: ? Some sun damage to the paint on the driver's side of the vehicle immediately under the driver and passenger side windows as well as along the trunk's edge, and to the roof ? Some minor paint chips to the bumpers, both front and back, as well as to the roof on the driver's side. Note: repainting the exterior of this vehicle would bring it to a “like-new” condition ? The leather or the gear shifting knob has some wear to it ? Cup holders inside require replacing and compartment stays open ? I have recently repaired the inside door handle on the driver's side ? The speaker cover on the front passenger’s side door has minor cracks - ultimately unnoticeable unless the speaker is undergoing inspection ? The Jaguar hood ornament is missing Other note worthy qualities to this Jaguar (I believe that perhaps this is true for all Jaguars): ? The electronics are quite sensitive to cold weather, and will provide warning lights and error messages until the vehicle warms up. This can be a bit concerning unless you are aware of it. If I had to keep this ad short, I would simply say that this Jaguar runs like new, and as smooth as silk. No excuses, no apologies, no disappointments. Cosmetically, it is in fair condition - with minor repairs required to make it practically new again. It is a solid vehicle that will serve you well for years to come. The sumptuous interior is in very good condition, and the use of rich wood veneer throughout the cabin really gives it a very distinguished look. This Jaguar was owned by a non-smoker. The cabin still smells like new. From the finely wrapped leather steering wheel, to the refined styling, this Jaguar exudes luxury. As you would expect from a Jaguar, this 2001 V-8 XJ8 L is loaded with features such as leather interior, dual power seats with memory system, Traction Control, Reverse park control, airbags, ABS Brakes, Sunroof, premium factory high-power audio system with CD and cassette as well as a 6 Disc CD player mounted neatly in the trunk. Its luxuriously plush floor mats are in good condition. Please be sure to check the vehicle’s carfax report. It sold new for nearly $58,000. I have her remote control as well as both original keys and of course the books. I recently installed a brand new set of tires on the car because I felt the tires it had were nearing the end of their lifeline.
