Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is an excellent 2002 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro with the factory Sport Package (lowered, stiffer springs, etc.). It's also equipped with an RS4-esque set of 18" Mille Miglia wheels, which were imported from Italy. The original wheels will also come with the car, and are great for winter wheels. The car is a 6-speed manual. The Denim Blue Audi is in amazing condition, and has just a tick over 100k on it- 100869 miles and counting (it's currently my daily driver). Most of those miles are highway miles from what I was told by the previous owner, and most of what I have put on it came from 3 hour trips to college and back, as well as a trip to Austin, TX and back from VA. I have always great care of the car, doing things like parking far away in parking lots (much to the girlfriend's dismay), routine maintenance, etc. It's a great all around car, especially with the legendary Quattro all wheel drive, which makes this car great and safe in inclement weather as well (not to mention the excellent handling). Gas mileage is awesome for a sport sedan equipped with a super-torquey V6- it was EPA rated when it was new at 25 highway, though I usually get upwards of 28 on the highway these days. I'm not sure if it's because of the engine having time to be broken in, or because of the care that's been given to it, but that's a number that I'm very happy with. I really don't wan't to sell it, but I've had a man crush on the new GTI's since they've came out and I've decided to pull the trigger on it. I will miss the heck out of this car, and I really want to sell it to somebody who will take care of and enjoy it.While the car has been extremely well taken care of, there are a few minor issues that don't really effect drivability, but I wan't to make sure I mention them. The body is great, but there are a few very small scratches on the driver's side, which are impossible to detect outside of 3 feet. There is also about an 8 inch scratch on the driver's side door, which looks like it's just in the surface of the paint. These should come out pretty easily with a bit of rubbing compound or polishing compound and time. I'm also including a set of factory touch up paint I bought for the car if you want to use that. Shouldn't be a problem at all. The check engine light comes on every now and then because of some emission sensor. It was explained to me to have something to do with the car producing just a hair more emissions than it's supposed to for a split second at startup. It was like this when I purchased the car, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever come of it. Other than that, the Audi brake wear indicator recently came on, meaning it probably could use some new front pads within the next 5,000 miles. The rear brakes (rotors and pads) were replaced about 5,000 miles ago, and the car was inspected this past November- passed with flying colors.I'm sure I'm missing something here. Fortunately, the old link from where I purchased the car is still active, so there's some more pictures of the car there and a bit more spec information: http://midatlanticmotorwerkes.com/vehicle.php?vin=WAULT68E42A254974 So, if you have any questions, please email me at klohr2@gmail.com, or give me a call or text at 540-641-1002. I'm asking $9,100, but I'm open to offers and cash always talks. Thanks for your interest, and please only contact me with serious inquiries!-Update- Maybe it's because the listing is so new, but I'm not seeing the AutoCheck section working on this page. Hopefully it will pop up, but if not, you can use the free history report at the bottom of the page. There you'll see the clean history, and a rating of 86 for this car when most are between the 60-82 range for this vehicle. Told you it was an excellent Audi!On May-16-11 at 18:50:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I just wanted to mention a few other things about the car I forgot the first time. This Audi has the top of the line sounds system available in these A4's- an excellent Bose system with a 6 disc in-dash changer. It sounds amazing. This car is also pretty much fully loaded example, and retailed for roughly $38K brand new. So it's chocked full of features such as front and rear heated seats, headlight washers, full power seats, etc. I also want to make sure that anybody bidding on this car is entirely serious about it. I do not want any non-paying bidders on this car- it is a huge waste of time and money. So please, only bid if you intend on purchasing this excellent Audi. If you have any questions, or would even just like to have a conversation about the car prior to bidding, please don't hesitate to contact me. I know quite a bit about the history of this particular example and a bit about Audi's in general, so I am more than willing to share anything I know. I am asking for a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction close, and it would be optimal that the buyer pick up the A4 on either the 20th or 22nd (busy the 21st). We can work around your schedule, but the car has got to go soon because of a deposit I'm making on a new car. I just wanted to make any bidder fully aware of the plan here, and to ensure that only serious buyers participate. Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for bidding on the A4! On May-16-11 at 18:57:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I also have pretty much every document for the car's maintenance history. Fortunately, the dealer I bought it from had worked on the car nearly it's entire life, so these documents were pretty easy to come by. Since I've had it, I've kept all of the same records, as well as receipts and part numbers for any installed parts, which hasn't been much but it's there. For instance, you'll know the exact rotors and pads I had put on the car. This also reminds me that you'll notice a lip spoiler on the rear of the car. I purchased and installed this late last summer, and it's pretty much the exact same version used on the S4's. It adds a nice, subtle, sporty flare to the car.
