Vehicle Detail
1965 Studebaker Daytona Coupe w/ 283 V8 & automatic transmission. Will make a great project car! Vehicle has been in storage / garage kept for 20 years by the same owner. 61,768 miles. Clean and clear title. Black vinyl top and rear seat in excellent condition. Passenger seat in very good condition. Drivers seat has a tear in the vinyl and some crubled foam cussion. Engine was started about 10 years ago and has not been run since. Needs brake lines. Body is in fair condition with some rust through in the front fenders and two locations in the rear corners of the trunk. All of the original trim is included (some pieces have been removed, but are stored in the trunk). The car is being sold due to a move and lack of time and resources for restoration. Shipping or pick-up is not included and the responsibility of the winning bidder. No warranty or guarantee is included. Sold as-is. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. On May-13-11 at 20:45:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional Information (5/13/11) After receiving numerous questions, I have added extra photos showing the engine compartment, dash, the chassis, and the two rust through spots in the trunk corners. The rust spots in the trunk are where the white caulk is located. There are no cracks or weathering in the dash; however, the original radio location was modified for a modern DIN CD / radio as shown in the picture. There are some rust holes in the passenger side rocker panel. The door pillars and the floor (other than the trunk) are not rusted through in any locations. Any other rust spots shown in the pictures are surface rust areas that were bubbling through the paint and sanded in an attempt to begin bodywork. I believe the transmission is the original Borg Warner 3 spd auto (please correct me if this is incorrect). Additionally, the car has power steering and power drum brakes. If there are any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.On May-16-11 at 12:06:42 PDT, seller added the following information: Revised Information (3/16/11) Another eBay user has informed me that the pictures of the engine do not indicate that there is power steering or power brakes on the car.
