Vehicle Detail
1947 Buick Super Sedanette 2-door street rod project. The entire floor, running gear, engine (LT-1 V8, 4L60-E automatic were taken from a 1995 Buick Roadmaster with less than 50,000 miles. Conversion work professionally done by Keith Fox, Merlins Rods and Customs, Lubbock, Texas. Every rust area on the original body was repaired using new metal. The 47 body fits the chassis perfectly with doors, trunk, and hood opening easily. Body and paint work finished 5 years ago. However, the car was stored without being completed. During the storage time (some of which was spent outside) a lawnmower threw gravel against the paint on the rear section of the car. Some repainting will be necessary before the car is buffed. PS, anti-lock power brakes, after market electric windows. Car runs and drives and the brakes work well. New glass. Needs gauges and interior installed. May be missing a few pieces of trim. BID WITH CONFIDENCE AND BUILD AN AWESOME CRUISER. CLEAR MATCHING NUMBERS NEW MEXICO TITLE. For more information call Keith (806) 239-3922. BECAUSE THE CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION EARLY.
