1968 Honda CT

This bike is a 1968 Honda CT90. The engine has an E code. It is a good running and riding bike. It starts easily. It is in original condition as far as I know. it has 2750 miles on it It has the high/low 4 speed transmission which works perfectly. It has Austrailian postal service tires on it which are quite hardy but not to knobbly. The brakes are good and it runs down the road fine. It has the large chrome rack which is quite handy for coolers or gear. I have used it mostly around campgrounds. I have owned it about a year and have only put 50or60 mileson it. I have changed the oil twice since i have had it. I also have charged the battery and put in a new spark plug and 2 new fuel filters. The battery will run down if left set for a long time but it charges right up. It is a 6 volt battery. Not very expensive to replace. It does have cracking on the outside of the cables but they all work fine.The crash bar/engine guard is missing but I think it looks better that way and I don't ride it where it would need one. I have one but I don't think it is for this model but it will fit. It does have an oil leak in the bottom of the engine. It doesnt leak so much you have to add oil but it did leave a spot on the floor the last time I rode it. Judging by its past performance i would say you could ride it about anywhere. I bought it with intent to keep it but my focus has changed a bit so I will get rid of it. I bought it in California and brought it back to the midwest with me here to Indiana. it does have a signed and open California title. I think in the condition it is in it would pass any state police inspection to transfer the title to your state. It is unusual to find one of these bikes with a title. The past owner livedin Mountain View near the Bay area and owned it since 1987. It is not perfect but you can ride it today. Questions are still free. Come look at it if you like. It is for sale locally for 1250 so the auction could end any time. I would prefer pick up or I could possibly deliver if not too far.
