This auction is for a 1960 AMC Nash Rambler. It has the original engine (flat-head six cylinder). I purchased this vehicle from another eBayer about 4 months ago. Loss of job forces sale. This vehicle has; a clear title all good glass in column automatic trans shift master cylinder just replaced It also has its problems as it is a project car. It does not have the original seats, headliner needs to be replaced. Inside door panels are not original either. The person I purchased this from stated that the park pin was missing so, it would roll when in park. I can't get the transmission to shift into gear, and I believe there may just be a problem with the linkage. As can be seen from the pictures, it needs a paint job. Now the good news. The engine runs perfect. No leaks from the engine or transmission at all. Just replaced the differential seal and filled it up. The gears work perfectly. I also have the missing lenses for the lights. This car would be easy to complete and I wish that I actually had the little amount of money needed to do so. The pictures were taken in my garage, so I apologize for the darkness and close up pictures. These cars are great for the good ol' 350 conversion (if that is what you like). If you want to keep it stock, fixing the linkage or getting a used transmission is pretty cheap to do. Let me know if you have any questions. I will be happy to answer them as soon as I can. This vehicle shows 81,833 miles on the odometer. Obviously, these can't be the original miles as it is 51 years old. It has most likely exceeded the odometers mechanical limits.
