Vehicle Detail
Up for sale are 2 1972 Honda CB 350's. First bike: Runs, and runs pretty good. It's been sitting for a year and 1/2, and could probably use a tune up/carb cleaning. Gas had been drained prior to sitting. I put a brand new battery in it 5/6/2011 and a gallon of gas, and it started right up with the starter. Started on the first kick after warming up and shutting off for an hour. Tank is pretty decent, has a small dent (quarter size) on top and another shallow but longer (4 inches) on the side.. Not very deep at all. Both would be easy fixes. Paint sucks. Period. Needs to be painted. Side covers are in good condition, but need paint also. Lights and turn signals work. Seat is in pretty good condition, has a small L shaped tear on one side about 1 in. x 1 in. Rear tire is in good shape with good tread, front has good tread but is cracking a bit .. Probably ok since these guys aren't going too fast, but something to consider. Pretty solid bike all around. This would be a nice starter bike, or better yet a easy project/ cafe racer. Second bike is a parts bike. Engine turn over with kick start and seems to have compression. It's mostly complete. Previous owner said it ran when he put it in storage but... well they all ran before they were put in storage right? So take that for what it is. Tank has a pretty good dent in it that may be able to be fixed. Has both side covers. Seat is in pretty good shape with the exception of a little bit of the stitching is coming loose, and some red overspray from someone painting something around it at some point... May clean up, I may even try to do that. Has a sissy bar that someone my like, or throw away.. It's in about the same shape as the seat and even has the matchin' red overspray. Has a brand spanking new brake cable!! Now there's a selling point. Rear tire is prety good with good tread, front is not good without good tread.. It's crap. No good... I don't have a key for this bike!!! It's mostly complete also. Could probably be fixed up the same as the other bike, just a bit more work. I HAVE CLEAR TITLES FOR BOTH BIKES. You can see more pic at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/davesobecke/sets/72157626662250630/ You can also send me a message if there's any other pics you'd like. $50 deposit within 2 days of winnig unless we agree otherwise, remainder in cash upon pickup. Buyer is responsible for pickup. I will assist in loading them up, and may deliver close to Milwaukee. They will both fit in a medium sized pickup (that's how I got them home), and can be lifted into the back with 2 average guys..or maybe you're feeling smart and bring a trailer...
