SquareTrade © AP6.0 This VW Super Beetle starts right up and runs normally. There is a slight valve rattle, has no affect on running.The Trans pops out of first gear. Car drives fine in 2nd gear + above. Engine ,Brakes , Electrical, and standard needed items all are fine. It does not need any major mechanical work, it drives and runs quite well. The 4 tires are in new shape *********************************** The value of this Bug is that almost all of the chassis,frame,floor,seat tracks and rocker areas are solid and free from rust. There is some small rust on floor pan under the battery tray . The battery is still in place and not falling thru. There is a small defect by the drivers side front fender well,and by lower door pillar.It appears that the left front quarter between front fender and door was damaged in an accident and was repaired. That is where the rust is. Looks like it was caused by body work. ******************************** It was painted a champagne like color and was dechromed some time ago. There are cracks and small rust spots scattered around the body due mostly to the de-chroming job.All accessible and easy compared to chassis/floor pan repairs.The integrity of the body is fine.Drivers rear fender is worst,easliy removed and replaced The chromed parts ,bumpers + headlight rims etc. are rusted Front trunk needs a prop rod to stay open. Owner smoked and interior needs normal restoration,like replacing carpets and door panels,cleaning discolored headliner,sun visors etc. Seats are worn and have covers over them. Drivers side is worn, Passenger side OK, Rear OK Since solid ,restorable Bugs are rare these days this one is defenitley a diamond in the rough Please ask questions or request pictures
