You have truly not experienced fun top down driving in the twisties until you've driven a 500SL. Handles like a coupe even with the top off! The car is Grey on Palomino leather interior. This 500SL came equipped with the desirable AMG sports package, including larger AMG wheels which give it all the more head turns! The car has been repainted since she is 20 years old, which is still hard to believe! The exterior is in good shape with no major nicks, dents or scratches, beyond normal wear and tear. The interior is also in nice shape, with no tears in the leather and a nice clean dash with no cracks either. The car runs and drives just like a german sports coupe should. The engine and transmission are in good shape. The car get's up to speed with no problem and is happy to shift through the gears for you. The air conditioning is ICE COLD!! The car has a modern Blaupunkt CD Player stereo system that sounds great in the vehicle. It looks as if it fits perfectly with the car. This is still a very modern SL, equipped with 4 wheel anitlock (ABS) disc brakes, as well as DUAL driver and passenger airbag systems. The car has newer tires that were replaced within the last 10k miles. The convertible motor does work with ease, but will need a new soft top to fully enjoy it. The car absolutely comes with its original hard top that you see in the pictures. The only other flaws on the car are as follows: There is a minor tear in the passenger side of the front air dam (under the front of the car); The car needs a new control arm as you can sometimes hear it making some noise as you go over a bump; The engine has a bit of a vacuum leak that will occasionally make the idle a bit lumpy.
