I am trying to help sell this Beetle Bug for my neighbors. They recently told me their fun car would have to go due to some recently learned health issues (in their 70's). The coastal cruises up and down the 101 will come to an end for this Beetle. Terry and Yvonne know me as their "car guy friend". Just want you to know I am not a Bug expert but know and understand classic cars being a Mustang, Boss, Shelby collector so fire away with any questions and between us can get you up to speed. There are over 5,000 in receipts which include a complete engine overhaul at 30,455 miles. Complete paint job last year at which time they decided to do a color change from Tan to Red. New uphostery, door panels and carpet were also completed at that time. The Bug drives tight and has been very reliable for them. I have looked the body over carefully and can say it is rust free and appears to have never had rust issues in the past. The pan has some of the original under coating and is straight. The trunk is solid and rust free. The car is what is to be considered a driver not a show candidate. It is very presentable and clean throughout. The reserve is very reasonable for a rust free 68 Bug that has had this amount of recent work completed. The car has spent its entire life in Arizona and Southern California.
