1934 FORD 5 WINDOW COUPE Just In Time For Spring and Summer Cruising - This Is A Piece Of Hotrodding History A Real Steel Car This car was built to keep things as simple as possible and to have good access to components and make serviceability as easy as possible. Also, it was built with all the best components for durability. I am a streetrodder, and this car was built for driving. The show end of things was secondary, although this car has won almost every award that there is at one time or another. My favorite is the best engineered award and the one that was presented by out state n.s.r.a. rep. as the states outstanding streetrodder. I have full documentation on everything that went into the car and cannot possibly list it all. TITLE: The car is titled in Wisconsin as a 1934 ford (not a reconstructed) and has been inspected and is 100% street legal. BODY: Original Ford 1934 5 window coupe. Chopped and channeled. Crank out windshield and cowl vent have been kept operational. The 3 piece hood is custom built and can be run without the top, or sides, or completely removed for that real hotrod look. The original grill has been extended at the bottom, and lays back on top. There is a fabricated rolled pan under the grill for that smooth look. There is also a rolled rear pan that serves as the battery compartment, and storage area. The body is painted in acrylic urethane and clear coated with custom pearl flames. The color is pensky truck yellow. INTERIOR: The interior is done in saddle tan leather with embossed flames in the door panels and rear quarter. The seats are fiero with the original speakers in the headrest replaced with high-end units. It has an overhead console for storage and lighting. The carpeting is black Daytona. There are 3-point seatbelts for both seats. The dash is a modified original with Stewart Warner Wings electronic gauges and am/fm cassette high power stereo with a 6 disc CD changer mounted in the trunk. The interior has a lot of legroom due to the firewall being extended forward. I am 6'1" and I can extend my legs all the way. The steering column is a cadillac tilt and telescopic unit .(the one that you turn the horn button to adjust the telescopic). The air conditioning is built into and behind the dash, and is a 134a unit. DRIVE LINE: The engine is a fresh 1987 asa race engine that has been reworked for the street. (around 28k invested in engine alone). Originally built to run in the 7000-9000 rpm range. The heads were replaced with dart aluminum heads. The compression is 11-1 and runs great on pump gas. The solid roller was replaced with a comp cams hydraulic roller and roller rockers. The engine is a 400 Chevy + .040 which makes it 410 cubic inches. It is rated at 498 hp at 5800rpm and 496 pounds of torque. The torque curve comes on strong right off idle. The engine is topped off with an air gap aluminum manifold and a Barry Grant 750 double-pumper speed demon carb. Ignition is a corvette dual point converted to electronic. Sanderson ceramic coated headers. The engine is cooled by a polished Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans that are thermostatically controlled from the dash. The transmission is a th350 c with a lockup converter built by Rush Transmissions. The rear end is a Chrysler 8.75 with 3:55 posi center section with the big Chrysler drum brakes and green bearings. SUSPENSION: Pro coil over shocks in all four corners. The front is a chromed 4” drop magnum axle with wildwood disc brakes. Supported by a chromoly 4 link suspension and steered by a Ford manual rack. The chassis is done in black imron. The rear is a long ladder bar set up. Cragar ss wheels and 165 sr15 tires on the front, and 315-70-15 tires on the rear. The car weighs 2840 pounds and is almost a perfect 50/50 front to rear weight distribution The car runs, drives, & handles great. 0-60 times are 4.7 sec. Quarter mile is 11.70 @ 117 per the g tech computer. It handles and corners like a go-cart. Keep in mind that this is A REAL STEEL 1934 FORD. IT WAS NOT BUILT AS A SHOW CAR, BUT AS A DRIVER. It has been to most major events in the Midwest, including three power tour events. It has been n.s.r.a. safety 23 inspected every year. It is currently appraised and insured for $70k although this would not cover the replacement of the car. The car is currently in climate controlled storage Shipping will be the responsibility of the winning bidder but I will assist in any way I can. Please feel free to inspect the car or have your representative inspect it. The car speaks for itself. $2000 deposit due by Paypal at auction end, balance by certified bank check.
