You are bidding on a 1957 Chevy 210 4 door, 283 CID V8, Powerglide Trans. I picked this car up in May of 2010, do not have any history but car appears as if previous owner/owners had done some work to it. I was told the 283 had been rebuilt at some point and that trans was had also been overhauled. I replaced the glass packs it had on it with Flow Master exhaust from headers back. Replaced grill bars, all door glass including vent windows and window felts. (d/door glass is cracked). Replaced Holley reman carb with Edelbrock 4 barrell I had on shelf. Replaced plugs, vacuum advance, rotor and cap. Runs decent but needs a proper tuning. I drove car all summer around local area. Car is garaged when not in use. Engine has a couple of oil leaks and trans drips when car sits for a while. Car seems solid to me, has rust in typical area especially left side lower fender and door. Someone replaced gas tank with fuel cell and electric fuel pump and put air shocks in rear. Fun driver as is or perfect for a restore.
