The body doesn't look that bad for its age, but there is a rust hole in each door and some rotted spots in the corners under the rear bumper. There were scrapes and rust spots that I've touched up Rustoleum to stop the rust. Some of the paint is wearing off the sunroof lid too. I'm sure the car looks great in the photos, but there are plenty of paint flaws..... this is no perfect car! It doesn't look too bad for its age, but I don't want anyone to be surprised or unhappy with it. I believe most of the car has been repainted. The odometer has stopped moving at 144,399, it is believed to actually be around 160k miles (documented by the service records). The speedometer still functions fine. It looks like the radiator support has been changed some time ago but the front frame rails look straight and perfect. The interior is in nice shape, but the driver's seat has some tears mostly on the bottom (see photo), the other seats look like new. The headliner is sagging in spots and the passenger side sun visor is in the trunk. The dashboard has no cracking, but there is an area that's starting to fade a little. There is a master kill switch on the battery. All the electronics and gauges work. The grille is in very good shape. The heater control cable seems to be missing its anchor at the valve , but the valve works fine and can be operated from under the hood. The hatch wont stay up on its own without a prop, and the latch wont catch. The original spare and tools are still in the trunk. There is a brand new windshield installed. The hood release, sunroof and parking brake all work well, along with the great door vent windows. There is no rust on the strut towers, or under hood areas. I do believe this car is dependable enough to be driven anywhere, but it is being sold for restoration purposes or parts only! I want everyone to be sure they understand this, and that there is some rust to be repaired on the body and underneath, plus it's also almost 30 years old! I do not want an Unhappy Andy or a Whinny Walter to purchase the car, please be a person of reason, friendly and somewhat experienced in buying a used car. Ive tried to be as accurate and complete in this description as possible, and I hope the new owner will agree and be very happy with it. This car is a lot of fun to drive. There has been lots of maintenance performed over the years. I have the majority of its service records that will go with the car. This car gets really great gas mileage (40 MPG). The original alloy wheels are in great shape, the tires still look pretty good. VERY IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.......
