Vehicle Detail

1970 Torino Cobra with "N" code 429 4V Thunder jet. -Engine is non numbers matching 1972 rebuilt with approximately 5,000 miles. I do not have specifics on the rebuild other than "stock". Transmission is also a 1972 C-6 that was also rebuilt at the same time the engine was. It has a mild shift kit that provides a slightly firmer shift than stock. Both the engine and transmission run well with no issues. I have personally put about 1,000 miles on the car with this engine and transmission. The only thing I have seen is a bit of a transmission leak possibly from the front seal. I have not investigated. Sorry, I do not have the number matching engine. -I recently added an original shaker to the car. The base was converted from the original non shaker base. The scoop and mid plate are original Ford parts. Seal is in fair condition. Trim ring is very nice. Looks great! It does not have the vacuum motor or the flap. -New aluminum radiator, new shroud and hoses. -5 new Magnum 500 wheels. The fronts and spare are 15X7 with new P245-60R-15 BFG tires. The rears are 15X8 with good P275-60R-15 BFG tires. -New front spoiler. -New aftermarket console that matches the interior. New dash cover with Cobra emblem.. -New matching door and ignition locks. New trunk lock. -New upper A-Arm shafts and bushings. New spring seats. -New speakers installed in the rear package tray area. Wires are run, but I have not installed a radio. Prior to my purchasing the car: -New interior. -New ball joints -Brakes rebuilt -New paint. There are a few defect in the paint, nut overall very nice. -Re-chromed bumpers. -Battery apron was replaced. The only rust found on the car is the right rear floor is soft. I have looked inside the doors, trunk drop off and all over the car and have found NO OTHER signs of rust or repair. Overall, this is a VERY SOLID car! -The underside of the car has not been detailed. I can provide additional pictures if you wish. -I have the Marti report. This car is: 1 of 479 With this paint code 1 of 133 with these paint and trim codes 1 of 1,540 with these engine/transmission codes 1 of 999 with argent styled wheels I do have 4, 14X7 argent styled wheels that could be purchased separately if the winner is interested, other wise they are not for sale. Please contact me through EBAY with any questions. If you are serious, I will be glad to provide my phone number for you. All Shipping costs and arrangements are to paid for and made by the buyer. No warranty. Sold as is. A $500.00 non refundable deposit is required at the end of the auction. Prefer cash on pick up, but will accept certified bank check. Payment MUST CLEAR before the car is released. I am flexible on pick up as long as the car is paid for in full. On May-01-11 at 15:50:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I have decided that I need the space more that I need the car. You have heard it before, way too many projects and not enough space. The car has got to go! So there is no guessing, I have lowered the reserve to $16,250.00. More than a fair price for a nice car, a RARE CAR! I will also be listing a nice 1969 Torino soon. Keep an eye out.
