Up for your consideration, a machine that started out as 1976 CB750F and was custom cafe'd into one of the best CB750's I've ever ridden. I've probably owned 30-40 CB750's and this bike is the most well sorted and balance bike I've had the pleasure of riding, it's an absolute blast. I purchased it from an older gentleman who threw thousands at this bike back in the early 80s. I am told an 810 top end kit was used along with a mild grind cam. He could not recall everything done to the motor but it's evident it was well worked right down to the aluminum valve keepers. Bike is equipped with.......... "K" model tank and side covers Tele-Flex Clip-ons Bassani Competition exhaust 1 PAC 02/81 Front and rear Lester mag wheels Dyna ignition coils Larger smooth bore carburetors Custom colored match seat Paint is in good condition and has very light ghost flames Oversized Harley Davidson chrome headlight Chrome all over this bike...engine side covers, valve cover, fork legs etc. The bike is a older build but is still quite nice. The motor is in excellent running condition. The bike is happy cruising around town at low speed and turns into a monster when opened up. There are no flat spots, coughing, sputtering, oil leaks or ill manners. The handling is excellent and suspension feels well sorted. Bike could use some new pod air filters as there old and one is torn. The side stand is make-shift and really stinks. I would pick up a frame mounted universal unit. Really those are the only too issues or concerns on the bike. Normally I have plenty of Honda spare parts and dug around for a nice dash display to replace the cruddy looking unit that sits between the gauges. It is a really cool bike that I know the winning bidder will be happy with. I'm a British twin addict and seldom get personally involved with japanese inline fours. But this bike is a special machine that I have really enjoyed the last several weeks. Most of my knowledge and experience with CB750's has been aquiring nice stock examples for Honda collectors. This bike has been kinda refreshing as it's a hooligan at heart. She's unruly, fast and a blast to ride. She's not your dad's old CB750 by any means. However it's a nice tame ride around town until opened up. Real nice balance of ridability and on tap monster. don't know if he original owner designed it that way or everything just fell into place.
