Selling a 1958 Mercedes Benz 219 Pontoon sedan for NO RESERVE. Final bid takes this car home... A California car and good candidate for restoration. Still has its original vin tag in door and trim tags in engine bay. This car is a timeless classic and people love the great looking lines. VIN IS 1050108504487 Already prepped with primer and ready for a quality restoration. Paint it Black and it would be stunning with the red interior. I believe it is an original Black car originally. Nice straight body and recently done seats and carpets. Most of the parts are there and some extra misc parts come with the sale. Just installed a new battery. California registered and clean title. Runs and drives but has no reverse gear. Just wont engage in reverse for some reason. Surface rust on trunk floor and some underbody. Floor pans have surface rust but are pretty much solid for a car this age. The chrome can use re chroming because of the pitting. Missing the headliner but bows are present. Missing left rear door panel. Broken rear tail light. Drivers door only opens from inside handle. Great looking style and would be a wonderful car to keep but too busy with work to take on a project at the moment. Email for more info.
