The 1977 BMW R100S models were released in July of 1976. Labeled as a 1000cc machine, the actual displacement is 980cc. This was the first year for BMW to build a motorcycle that exceeded 900cc. This beautiful bike has been a show winner in local vintage motorcycle shows. The bike is not flawless, but what bike is that has been ridden at all. The clock does not work and the seat lock and key are missing. The seat latches down but it can not be locked. All the lights and turn signals work just as they should and the bike has the original tool kit and air pump under the seat. A five hundred dollar non-refundable deposit must be made to pay-pal by the winner within forty eight hours, and the balance must be paid in seven days. Only cash, a bank cashiers check, or a postal money order will be accepted for the balance. The motorcycle will not be shipped until the funds have cleared the bank.
