This is an ex-CHP bike, so it has been serviced through their Dealer Service Program every 3 to 5,000 miles. I got it through an auction with a transmission problem (they wouldn't tell me what was wrong with it). I had the transmission rebuilt and now it is ready to hit the road. The engine runs very smoothly and the rest of the bike is in very good shape. There is a very awkward blemish on the fairing near the gas tank cover (of which I am including a picture). I have no clue how did it come to exist, but should be easy to repair by any body shop; I would let the new owner take care of that. The tires are in very good shape with lots of thread on them. All instruments work properly. All lamps work properly. The heated grips work fine. The windshield raises and lowers smoothly and has no visible scratches. The seat has obvious signs of wear but no rips. Very small scuffs on the protective crash bars but no signs of the bike having been dropped. Winning bidder pays for all shipping costs. I have shipped motorcycles in the past using DAS but you make the arrangements. I am willing to drop it at the terminal in Santa Fe Springs, but that is as much as I can offer in the shipping. I am starting with a low reserve because I need to pay off some debts, so my loss is your gain. My 100% rating speaks for itself. So bid with confidence.
