Up for auction is a 1985, 300 D 5-cylinder turbo diesel with 236,668 miles on it. I bought this from a friend of mine because I needed good transportation for a few months. I have driven it for several months and the car runs fine. The air conditioner works, the vacuum door locks work, the sunroof opens and shuts as it should and the tires are about one year old. This is a southern car with no rust. My friend had it painted a year ago and as you can see from the pictures, it looks good, except that when you get up close you can see a few runs and imperfection in the paint which could probably be buffed out. The interior is in good shape except for the driver seat which has a few tears from normal wear and the wood panel by the gear shift. The power windows work with the exception of the rear window on the drivers side. It makes a clicking noise when you try to lower it, so I just leave it alone.I purchased a truck and I no longer have a need for the car and that is why I am selling it. The car is 26 years old but still cruises down the road fine. I feel like I have put enough miles on the car that if something was wrong I would have found it, but since it is a used car I am selling it "as is" with no warranty implied or stated. If you live near Atlanta, feel free to come by and look at the car. I am going to list it locally so if it sells locally I will end the auction early. I am going to put a very reasonable reserve on the car and then I will just let the auction run out. If you need the car delivered I will be glad to put it on my trailer and bring it to you for an additional fee. Again with that being said, I can not deliver it to California. If you need it shipped a long distance it would be cheaper to get a transporter than to have me bring it, but if you are within a few hundred miles I could bring it for a reasonable price. I tried to take enough pictures so you could see all the angles so there wouldn't be any surprises.
