Up for auction my friends daily driven Jeep Wrangler. She is going through financial problems and needs to sell this Jeep to file bankruptcy. She bought it two winters ago from a builder in Pennsylvania who put a lot of work into this Jeep. Beth drove it to my shop today for me to look it over and said while on the interstate she kept the speedometer around 65 to 70mph. She said there is a wobble over bumps but from my experience with Wranglers that is normal. The Jeep comes with the hard top and doors shown as well as a set of soft top doors and soft top hardware. The tires on this Jeep appear to be hardly used and aside from a few small issues listed below, I feel this Jeep will make the next owner very happy. This vehicle auction will be run with no reserve, so the highest bidder will own it regardless of final price. I feel ebay auctions should always have a winning bidder and placing a reserve price on listings only takes away from the auction experience. Beth said she needs to get $4000.00 for the Jeep. I feel that ebay will bring this money for it, but if by Saturday night the price is not close to it, I will have to cancel the auction and she will continue to try and sell it locally. This being said, please do not wait around to place bids as I really will have to remove it if its not close to that price by Saturday. A $200.00 refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction closing to cover ebay fees. If winning bidder wants to pick up the Jeep within 24 hours the paypal deposit is not required. The deposit is non refundable if the winning bidder fails pay in full by the required time set on this auction; which is ten days after auction ends. I want make it clear that if you examine the Jeep and find I have not listed it accurately I will not hold you to buying it and will still leave positive feedback on your account along with refunding your deposit minus $50.00 for listing fees. I am not using ebay to scam people out of money, its a great marketing tool to get my items to the most viewers. I also need to make it clear that this is not a get out of jail free card giving buyers the opportunity to come kick the tires. If you win the bid you must prove that I have inaccurately listed it. Exterior: As shown in both the video and photos, the body is a 6 to 7 out of a scale 1-10; 10 being best. There are multiple dings, scratches and rust spots but the paint is good and would be appreciated in any community. Glass is unbroken. Tires are nearly new and brakes stop it without hesitation. I know that most Jeep frames have rot issues around the rear shackle mounts and near the front axle but all locations on this frame are good. Frame does have surface rust, but nothing I see would be any issue for safe driving. Jeep does have dual exhaust, passenger side tailpipe is rusted away at the muffler. Hardtop has cheaper window tint on the rear window and it has bubbled. Aluminum wheels appear very clean in photos but will need scotch bright to bring them back to original shine. All lights work. For specific body issues, please refer to photographs. Jeep also includes soft top frame and soft top doors and windows, buyer will need to purchase new soft top as the one coming with this Jeep is badly cracked. Interior: Interior has updated gauges. Fuel gauge and radio work intermittently. Steering wheel has a crack in the aluminum. 5 point racing seats for both passenger and driver with matching rear seat. I'm 6'9" tall and can comfortably sit in this Jeep so I feel confident most of the ebay community will have no problem driving this. On the other extreme, Beth is probably about 5'1" and she has no problem driving it. Floors are solid as shown in photos. The Jeep has a separate kill switch for the ignition. Powertrain: Motor runs great, has idle issues at red lights and turning it off. Will sometimes run for a second or two after the key is out. She was told its a vacuum related issue, I am leaning more towards incorrect timing. It does not appear to have any significant fluid leaks and has a healthy v8 tone. 4x4 works good with no odd noises, transmission looks like a C6. The engine is a late 70's 302. Has steel headers and aftermarket ignition. Most of these components can be seen in the photographs. Mileage is unknown for motor and body as the gauge cluster has been replaced. Overall a very fun Jeep to driven summer and winter. We can arrange pickup at airport for you to drive the Jeep home. Clear Ohio title in Beths name will be transferred.
