Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 73 Dodge Charger Rallye 440 that I purchased in Santa Ana, California in April, 2002. This car spent its entire life in CA until I brought it to Ohio. It still has the California emissions sticker on the left rear window. Big block 440 numbers matching drivetrain. Can't be too many of these still around. Had the original paint with no rust or damage. The original factory paint markings are still on the torsion bars and rear differential. It wasn't molested, so you can say this is a true survivor. I did a complete restoration, with EVERYTHING rebuilt, replaced or reconditioned. New Top Banana Yellow paint that shows better than when it rolled off the assembly line. Engine was completely rebuilt with new bearings, rings, mopar perfomance street hemi cam and lifters. Heads were redone with a three angle valve job,new valve springs and exhaust guides. New oil pump, pan and pickup. New Mopar performance dual plane intake,Carter 600 cfm carb and Carter street fuel pump. Mopar performance distributor and electronics. 727 trans was completely rebuilt. New Sure grip differential, with new 3:55 gears. Brakes, front suspension components and dual exhuast are new. Almost every part including brake and fuel lines were removed, cleaned by hand and either clear coated or painted the original color. The interior has new Legendary seat covers, headliner and carpet. Front and rear bumpers were rechromed. New BF Goodrich Radial TA's on 15" Rallye wheels. Has been driven less than 200 miles since completed. It took literally hundreds of hours of labor and thousands of dollars to achieve the condition which you see today. It would be nearly impossible to duplicate this restoration for the price I'm asking. Look at the pics and judge for yourself. I think the only way you'll find a cleaner one is in a museum. I welcome pre bid inspection by appointment. No disappointments. This Charger is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this listing early. Sorry, not interested in trades.
