Vehicle Detail
Chevy 1947 Fleetline Sport Master Sedan 4-Door All Original Barn Find. Rare Barn find... Has been sitting in a barn for 50 years, all original, all matching numbers, motor was started 3 years ago. It is the original 6 cylinder overhead valve 216cu engine w/ a 3-Speed in the collum "3 in the Tree". I would say that 99% of all original parts are with the car, including trim and glass. The car is pretty rusted, with the fenders, running board, and frame rusted through. This would make a great parts car because almost all nuts, bolts, and screws are as they were when the car was put into storage. This car only has around 20,000 miles and the most recent service sticker is from the 60's. This was a luxury car at its time, it has ashtrays in the front and back, original amber fog lights, original blue dot tailights, and even an automatic tissue dispenser, so this car can possibly make a nice, valuable project car if one was to put the time and money into it to restore it. The dash is in good shape with a clock and all gauges, including the original radio. It even has its original jack and spare tire in the truck. The cowl codes show that it is a 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline Sportmaster Sedan, with the desriable Freedom Blue paint. It was made in Terrytown, New York in September, 100% American Steel. It has the original engine and transmission, and basically everything else is original as well. Great car to restore to its' former glory, being its all original, low miles, desirable, and all of the original parts are there, just needs some TLC. We are in the process of building of a 1968 mustang and need money to work on it, so this car has to go....330-651-4328..leave message if no answer. Car is sold AS-IS. We have the car listed locally and on other sites so we reserve the right to end the auction before the set end date. Buyer must provide transport and/or delivery. Thanks for looking!
