This truck runs and drives excellent! It has lots of Texas highway miles, but it has been very well kept! The legendary 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel engine is still very strong. I just had my mechanic go over this truck very thoroughly from top to bottom, and here is a list of everything he did to service this truck:- NEW TIRES (Kumho front & Uniroyal rear; All four are 285/75/16, Load Range D)- NEW 4-WHEEL COMPUTER ALIGNMENT- NEW IN-TANK ELECTRIC LIFT PUMP/FUEL PUMP UNIT- NEW FUEL FILTER- NEW AIR FILTER- NEW GLOW PLUG RELAY MODULE- (4) NEW GLOW PLUGS- (1) NEW VALVE COVER GASKET- NEW STEERING LINK In addition to everything above, I also had the windshield replaced since it had a crack in it. The transmission shifts great. All fluids are clean. This truck has always lived in Texas, so theres absolutely no rust anywhere. However, because of the Texas sun, some of the paint has flaked off the roof, and its just starting to flake on the rear door jams (all paint is 100% original - no accidents or repainted panels). There is also a dent and a scratch on the passenger rear quarter panel. The interior is just about immaculate. The front seats were starting to get dry and crack a bit from age, so I had the front bucket seats totally recovered with new leather. This is a very nice truck that wont have you chasing little gremlins after you buy it. Ive just put over 400 miles on this Excursion myself and it has performed flawlessly. Everything works perfect.
