Up for bid as a beautiful, mostly original 1967 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 with less than 50,000 original miles. Manual, three speed on steering column. Body is 95% free of rust save for a portion along rear just above bumper, but below doors. Ready to build or drive. Four wheel drums, new master clutch and new master brake cylinder. New Corbeau bucket seats in the front with powerful, new heater, new but used hi-lift jack, and new gas cap. American Racing 15" wheels. Exterior and interior stripped of paint and then repainted orange with black spray on liner inside. Drives great and everything is working well, though the speedometer is low by 10 mph, the brakes need servicing, and the tie rods need replacement. The hard top is not bad, but the liner is missing. The doors were meant to be disposed of so there is paint on parts of the windows and also there is a portion of the right door with a failed bondo patch done by previous owner. This is a used vehicle, sold as is, with no warranty. The winning bidder is responsible for pick up in Alexandria, VA or arranging shipping. The turn signal seems to work intermittently. Usually, the lights just stay on requiring a manual turn signal operation. Also, the left rear turn signal housing is broken, and the lens is attached via quick-ties. The clutch master cylinder cap has deteriorated until I have placed a piece of plastic over the top in place of the cap. Finally, every once in a very long while the clutch sticks very briefly. Note that this cruiser is using Antique plates, and as such, does not require a safety inspection. Very clean, beautiful machine and you will be happy for years to come while driving and building this cruiser. Sad to see it go. Please feel free to ask any questions.
