This jeep has been in my Dad and I possession for over 40 years. About 4 years ago I had the original motor professionally rebuilt. They upgraded the oil pump. I also had the distributor replaced with a rebuilt one. I also added a one wire alternator. The engine has probably 2500 miles since the rebuild. The tires are very good. It probably is due for new brake shoes. I put new ones on about 9 years ago. As you might guess, I don't drive it much, mostly when the roads are closed to snow. All the 4 wheel drive works well. I also had the carb rebuilt a few years ago. About 4 years ago I had the 3 seats reupholstered. They replaced the foam also. They are a 2 tone gray. The jeep does not have carpet on the floors, easier to clean. The radiator is good as are the lights. The heater works. Guages work. It has a small crack in one corner of the windshield otherwise the glass is good. Radio has not worked for years and I don't know why. I put a new drive line in the front end about 10 years ago. I had it repainted about 6 years ago.
