2003 BMW F650GS ABS Model! NO RESERVE! NO RESERVE! Greetings Riders….we have a lot of material to cover here – so you best go and change into some comfortable clothes and make yourself a snack. I’d suggest you take the time now to prepare – as once you start reading you will want to devote your full attention to this very rare opportunity. Motorcycles of this caliber do NOT come along very often – but when they do – you are wise to act quickly. So go – get yourself a ham and cheese sandwich with some chips on the side. Might as well return with your favorite chilled beverage. It’s going to be a long session. Don’t worry, I’ll wait. I won’t start without you. Take your time…. All set? Now…up for grabs here with NO RESERVE is my 2003 BMW F650GS ABS Model. Now, unlike many people - I'm not going to simply copy/paste some manufacturer’s description. Instead I thought we should talk about THIS BIKE. Now work with me here. There's a lot of information, you need to know this stuff - so you can make an informed decision. Hey! You there in the back! Pay attention! You think we're here to sleep?! I am the second owner of this bike. I know its history since new, and so will you by the end of this description. A buddy of mine bought the bike new in North Carolina in 2003. He set it up with ALL the goodies and had great plans to ride the bike for a long time. Sadly after only one adventure ride he decided to sell the bike for health reasons. That was a great break for me. I bought the bike in 2006 and have owned it since then. This bike has lived a charmed life in an air-conditioned garage. Yes air-conditioned. I live in Florida where we sweat all 12 months of the year. I've only used the bike for adventure touring. This girl has spent her life cruising the remote parts of the country including Alaska - taking in all the incredible scenery this great country has to offer. No city miles on this one. I have other bikes for that. And by the way – she’s had a lifetime of full synthetic oil – nothing but. So what's worse than breaking off with the best girlfriend you ever had? Selling your dog perhaps - who has trusted you for 12 years? I'll tell you what's worse - selling this bike! That's what! The more I write about the bike - the less I want to sell her. For you see I did the Ultimate Coast to Coast Ride on this bike. That’s from Key West, Florida to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska – on the Arctic Ocean. And BACK I might add! When you do a ride of that magnitude you get attached to your motorcycle. Especially one that works as well as this one does. This has been a flawless machine for the full duration of my ownership. I learned a LOT from this bike. These little GS bikes are VERY capable. Amazingly so. All the miles that are on this bike came from a couple of seriously long adventure rides. Other than that she has lived indoors in my garage. She has been meticulously maintained at all times – I have service bills to prove several thousand dollars of careful professional maintenance. Currently the bike shows 21,044 miles on the odometer. Now pay attention here…as I am the most honest man on earth. The bike actually has about 34,000 miles on it in total – as the instrument cluster was replaced under warranty by the original owner. In terms of current maintenance – you will have nothing to do. The oil is fresh – and best of all….the tires are new! They have virtually no wear and tear showing on them. They are high quality Anakee tires by Michelin. The bike starts and runs just fine. I would have no concerns throwing a leg over her and heading out to Alaska just the way she sits. This is an amazing motorcycle once you get to know her. She wants to be shifted at higher rpm because she is a single – and pulls strong and hard. She runs all day long at 75 on the highway with ease and then transforms herself to a very capable dirt machine when called upon to do so. I ran full knobby tires on the Haul Road and she was a dream to ride. She gets over 50mpg – which is a great feature with gas the price it is. The bike is clean as a whistle – the yellow color rocks! There are a few tiny scratches on the tank top from the tank bag. But of course you know that it is not a gas tank at all – as the gas tank is under the seat. It’s a totally cool bike. In terms of options – the list goes ON and ON! All these listed items are included and shown in photos…. - Russell Day Long Saddle – duo leather with backrest - Happy Trail Aluminum Saddle Bags - BMW Top Box - BMW Tank Bag - Custom Made Aluminum Storage Boxes - work with Saddle Bags - Aerostitch Bags as per photo - New Tourtech Headlight Guard - Under motor crash guards - Forward foot rest - ABS Brakes - Heated Grips - Hand Guards - FULL size FACTORY BMW SERVICE MANUAL! Here is a real difficult point for me to swallow. YOU will be riding around with MY DECALS from ALASKA on the bike. People will think YOU went there! But I guess there is nothing I can do – they will get ruined if I try to take them off. So you better go to Alaska and EARN them like I did! Don’t you DARE pose with my decals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now – if you are at all knowledgeable about these options – you know we are over $2,000 in options – easily more at today’s prices. Now – Kelly Blue Book has the value of the bike at $4,425 for a machine in excellent condition. In my view this bike is certainly IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. My ebay feedback is 100% so that should give you some confidence I hope regarding this listing. So what I have done is list the bike with an opening price of $4,425 with NO RESERVE! What that means is if I get only ONE bid – that bidder will win the auction and get ALL the options for free. Truly a fair deal in my books! I hope you agree! Ya gotta pay for the bike. I want $500 within 48 hours of the ending of the auction. The rest of the money BEFORE the bike leaves my driveway. Pay up with Paypal or certified bank draft only. I'm a nice guy and all - and I'm sure you are too - but don't even bother bidding or sending me e-mails if you don't have the cash. This should go without saying - but here it is anyways - the bike is sold as is, where is, and there is no warranty. I have the title on hand. I own this little number outright. Pick up the bike or have it shipped at your expense. I'll do what I can to help. Personally I think you should just ride it home. That is - if you have the parts for the job. I don't care if you live in Wyoming! Just ride the bike. I did! You just can't seem to wear these things out. If you have questions – just send em along and I’ll zap ya a fast reply. Good luck and happy bidding! Ride ON! Wizard.
