Hello, This is a project in the works that has some great ideas and features from some hot rod enthusiasts. Lets start from the ground up. The chassis is a 2002 Chevy 4x4 2500 Duramax w/allison transmission with approximately 73,000 miles.The tin (metal) starting at cab is a 1953 Chevy COE with a 1953 5 window cab married to it. It has suicide doors and has been chopped. The bed is a 1953 Chevy suburban rear half. The body has a matching ribbon below the windows from the 3 body donors that make it look factory. The chrome bumpers are from a 2 ton truck from the same era with matching body curves. The tan interior is from a 2004 suburban LT with a sunroof that hasnt been installed yet. The 2002 chevy truck wiring harness, instruments, have been installed and engine starts. The truck is drivable to the limit that the body and chassis has not been inspected and assembled for normal operating speeds. No paint has been applied except some primer to the steps and front fenders. Electronic fans keep the engine cool. Sponsors such ATS of Denver donated the Transmission and Turbo. MBRP Exhaust. Clear 1953 Colorado Title. I wrote 4 articles for Diesel Word Mag during construction. They said when I got back into the project they would like to finish the story... The fabrication and parts add up to $10's of thousands so please serious inquiries only. What remains is interior, windows, wiper install, some body work and paint, a/c install, permanent turbo intake ducting, window washer assembly, body to frame strengthening, turn/brake signals and headlights. Misc.Parts from 2004 chevy suburban LT:A/C front and rearinterior panels seat belts steering wheelcarpetheadlinerjust about everything i could take out.... Misc 1953 parts from all the donors. I have the after market wiper system and power window kits that have not been installed.
