It has to go to make space in my garage.Up for auction is a 1981 CM400T. I bought this as the rolling chassis you see in the pics with a tub of parts and engine. I pulled all the parts out of the tub and laid them out. See pics. There are some parts missing. Some watchers have already emailed me to see if certain parts were in the tub so if you have questions please ask. I received a Texas title with this bike. From all appearances it looks to be a clear title. This bike was being built by the previous owner for his wife but she lost interest in it. The engine turns but I have no idea of it’s internal condition. The outside of the engine could use a bit of cleaning. The pink paint on the frame looks to be very well done. Smooth and shiny with metal flake in it. The tank has a couple of dents. I havne’t found a key for it so I can’t get into the gas cap. I don’t know the condition of the inside of the tank. The tires look pretty good. The rear one looks almost new. The odo in the tub of parts shows a little over 13K miles. I had planned to pull parts off another CM400 and put them on this frame since it has paperwork. I have since changed my mind and I’m going to concentrate my time on another project. Overall the rolling frame looks great but it must go to make room for my other project. Low starting price is just to make sure it goes. Bike and parts are SOLD AS IS.
