The color is original and custom to Porsche. I first saw this color at the Philadelphia Car show the year I ordered the car. It is amazing, subtle, and changes according to the light. There is no "Carrera 4S" emblem on the back of the car because I selected an option that omitted it. I omitted it for two reasons. The first reason is that it is easier to wax that very fine part of the vehicle without that model designation there. The second reason is I like the mystery generated by NOT having the designation. People are always craning their necks and trying to figure out what model it is. It is a small thing to add the designation to the vehicle at a dealership but I would advise you against it for the above reasons.
